This Administrative Support V position provides administrative support to the Director and Managers in Diagnostic Imaging at Rockyview General Hospital regarding the coordination of all staff related activities within the service area(s). In addition, this position analyzes financial information and prepares all invoices related to monthly reporting. This position liaises with multiple business areas within the region (e.g. Provincial Staffing Services (PSS), People and Learning, Position Management, Business Advisory Services, Rotation Management, Payroll). The Administrative Support V - WFM Liaison is responsible for ensuring that the business of staffing and scheduling business in the unit/areas operates effectively which, in turn, supports the manager(s) in providing quality patient care. The successful incumbent will perform duties of a sensitive and confidential nature. This position works independently in a complex environment and performs multiple tasks involving shifting priorities and deadlines. The successful incumbent is also required to interact with staff on a regular basis to solve payroll and scheduling concerns in a professional and timely manner.

As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

High School diploma required. Requires minimum 2 years WFM/ESP/Payroll experience. Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Connect Care. Oracle training and experience (iProcurement, iExpense, Markview). Human Resources and experience in using, interpreting and complying with union agreements is required. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high stress, highly demanding and multi-tasking work environment. Extremely high degree of customer service, problem solving, interpersonal skills and critical thinking. Fluency in English language is required. Excellent written/verbal communication, negotiating, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are required. Understanding of pay/premium codes and their impact on payroll, budget and benefits is required. Must have demonstrated excellent attention to detail. Stamina and dexterity to manage ordering, and stocking of department office supplies. Demonstrated superior time-management and organizational skills. Ability to type minimum of 65 WPM. Must be flexible to accommodate competing and changing workload demands. Ability to work under pressure with significant mental/visual demands and handle competing and frequently changing priorities within tight deadlines. Must exercise professionalism, judgement, and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.

DI experience preferred. Experience with RMS & RLS preferred.
