Description
The Provincial Medical Affairs team is seeking an Administrative Support V - Appointment & Privileging Specialist to support the end‑to‑end administration of Medical Staff appointments. Reporting to the Provincial Program Manager, this role operates in a fast‑paced, high‑complexity healthcare environment and requires exceptional professionalism, accuracy, and judgment. As an Administrative Support V, you will manage advanced administrative processes related to physician appointments and privileging, ensuring alignment with Medical Staff Bylaws and organizational standards. You will collaborate closely with physicians, medical leaders, and operational partners, handling sensitive and confidential information where precision is critical. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to balance competing priorities, and a proactive understanding of emerging issues. This is a remote position, scheduled Monday to Friday (0800-1615), with flexibility to meet operational demands.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Completion of post-secondary education in business administration and knowledge of AHS' Medical Staff Bylaws. Previous Medical Affairs experience in Appointment and Privileging is required to be successful in this role.
