Description
The Physician Affairs Administrative Support plays a key operational role within the Physician Affairs team by providing comprehensive administrative, financial, and contract coordination support across the physician lifecycle. Reporting to the Physician Affairs Team Lead, this position is responsible for the accurate preparation, tracking, processing, and maintenance of physician contracts, remuneration documentation, financial records, and physician data systems. The incumbent acts as a central point of coordination for physician-related documentation, ensuring that contracts, invoices, appointments, and onboarding materials are completed accurately, processed within established timelines, and maintained in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. The Physician Affairs Administrative Support works closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, physicians, and academic partners to support contract execution, remuneration processing, physician onboarding, privileging, and ongoing administrative requirements. The position demands discretion, professionalism, and initiative as well as the ability to proactively identify issues, communicate delays or discrepancies, and seek guidance when required to ensure continuity of service and operational efficiency within the Physician Affairs Team.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
2-5 years' experience in Physician contract management. Proficiency in MS Office tools. Attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Demonstrated proficiency with math, electronic platforms, detailed work, and self-directed organization. Able to work as part of a team.
