The Administrative Support IV manages the flow of clinical information and provides comprehensive and essential clerical support to clinic staff. Responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling virtual and in-person appointments, as well as coordinating across multiple departments. This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines amid frequent interruptions is a key responsibility for this role.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Some post-secondary education.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Graduation from a recognized Unit Clerk or Medical Office Administrative program Proven ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast pace, consistently changing environment. Demonstrated ability to independently and collaboratively Ability to perform light to medium physical tasks, including lifting and transporting supplies Capacity for prolonged standing and walking, as required Experience with Connect Care is an asset Ability to manage and participate in difficult or sensitive conversations Collaboration with EMS for patient transport and Code Blue support Preference given to candidates with prior Oncology Unit clerk experience in a healthcare setting.
