The Administrative Support IV - Client Scheduler supports Home Care operations by coordinating schedules and responding to clients and Health Care Aide (HCA) needs. This role requires strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience with scheduling and addressing client concerns. The Client Scheduler is part of the administrative support team and works collaboratively to support team operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with the public and HCAs, is detail-oriented, and maintains a positive attitude while working in a high-pressure environment with short timelines and competing priorities. Due to a limited number of Client Schedulers, flexibility is required, including adjusting schedules or picking up additional shifts when peers are on leave or positions are vacant. The successful candidate must be able to work with limited supervision and provide direction and support to HCAs and clients. This role is vital to the success of the Home Care program and includes active participation in quality improvement initiatives.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Some post-secondary education.

Completion of relevant post-secondary education. Experience in scheduling. Experience in customer service including strong communication skills, especially soft skills. Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team. Possess strong organizational/multi-tasking skills. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Experience in home care. Experience with public including seniors. Knowledge in Client and staff scheduling will be an asset.
