Description
Come join our long-term care team! Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre is seeking an Admin Support IV- Site Admin. Reporting to the Site Manager, this Admin IV position provides vital support to the clinical and non-clinical teams at the facility. Attention to detail will be crucial as ensuring clear, concise, and effective communication to multiple individuals and departments is a significant part of this role. Leveraging accomplished, technical and interpersonal communication skills, you will enjoy providing outstanding customer service to valued clients. Your expertise will also be used to improve the quality of care provided to the residents of Willow Creek. As the successful Admin IV Site Admin, your key responsibilities will include coordination of events, communication distribution, ordering, scheduling, coordination of the team with events that impact the site or specific departments, payroll entry, data entry, keeping detailed records, file management, and providing statistical information. The ideal candidate will focus on developing trusted relationships, effective interdisciplinary communication with clients and prioritizing with a resident focused mindset. Please Note: This position is located 110 km south of Calgary city limits and 80 km north of Lethbridge.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Some post-secondary education.
Proficient with computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, OUTLOOK, TEAMS, and OneDrive. Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required. Effective interpersonal and communication skills with team members. Exemplary time management skills. Ability to handle the physical demands of the position: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time, walking long distances onto the units multiple times a day, answering phones, lifting supplies, filing electronically. Knowledge of the organization, all respective collective agreements and operations of specific areas assigned. This position requires individuals to be able to communicate clearly and regularly with managers and other applicable team members.
Experience working in a healthcare setting. Experience working in a long-term setting, or with the elderly. Well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Flexibility and ability to meet the demands of changing priorities and deadlines. Experience with scheduling software and payroll processes. AHS/ALA Hand Hygiene Auditor Certification
