Reporting to the Team Coordinator, Parking Services North Zone, the incumbent coordinates the administration of parking privileges for AHS staff, patients and visitors. Provides advanced administrative or specialized support to the Team Coordinator/Manager. Processes daily work orders and invoice payments; and creates and maintains parking operational reports, cash handling reports and other financial records including department, contractor invoicing and completing various information management and reporting requirements specific to the area. Responds to difficult client and operational issues while complying with Alberta Health Services processes, procedures and guidelines. A high standard of interpersonal communication is required to support and represent our program through working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Strict Adherence to the confidentially of health information, attention to detail, organization flexibility and initiative. The incumbent is also required to analyze operational and financial data and present to the Parking Manager and Team Coordinator to improvement opportunities. This position is *multi-site* within Grande Prairie. As an Administrative Support IV, you will carry out specialized administrative activities in support of departments/programs, the immediate team and/or other stakeholders while utilizing your enhanced administrative skills gained through education and experience. Your key responsibilities can include coordinating schedules and resources, preparation of business documents and processing reconciliations on financial transactions. You will require excellent interpersonal skills, providing a consultative role and direct client service.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Other responsibilities may include data control audits, file maintenance and data entry. Attention to detail is extremely important in this position and the incumbent must display a high degree of accuracy while meeting the workload demands. Strong organization skills are required as this position’s environment may have frequent interruptions, short deadlines and changing priorities. Key responsibilities include daily cash handling/auditing/reconciliations of financial documents. Excellent communication skills, oral and written. Strong organization skills and experience working under pressure with multiple short deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with external and internal stakeholders. Experience in demonstrating initiative, good judgement flexibility in handling difficult client and operational issues. Computer software/applications competency. Minimum typing speed of 40 words/minute. Completion of some post-secondary coursework. Example: courses in office or business administration. Advanced Knowledge of MS products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. and web based applications. Cash handling/auditing experience. Customer Service Experience both written and verbal. *Skill testing may be required for this position.

Working Knowledge of ePeople, T2 Systems. Previous Parking customer service experience preferably in a hospital environment. Advanced Knowledge of MS products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. and web-based applications. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
