As an Administrative Support III, you will work as member of an integrated team supporting Pediatric Community Rehabilitation- Allied Health Community (AHC). This role with duties, as assigned, supporting clinical programs. Clinical program support may involve front desk reception, processing referrals and scheduling appointments. Additional responsibilities may include data entry, file management, minute taking, timekeeping, ordering supplies, and assisting with a variety of general activities to support site operations. As Administrative staff are often a first point of contact for clients, the successful candidate will demonstrate a friendly and flexible approach with strong customer service skills. This role requires advanced administrative skills, ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment and an aptitude for managing complex procedures. Selection process will involve a computer skills test.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Connect Care training (Referrals, Scheduling, and Registration) and experience with Ambulatory Clinic Patient Access Workflows. Minimum three years’ administrative experience in a health services setting. Advanced proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite. Proven organizational, time management and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and cooperate with others in a team environment. Advanced communication and customer service skills. Able to be self-directed and resourceful in managing unexpected issues. Able to lift up to 20lbs and manage extended sedentary periods; work for this position is primarily phone/computer based. All candidates are required to pass a computer skills test.

Post secondary certificate in medical/business/office administration or equivalent. Experience working in a call-center environment and providing exceptional customer service experience. Experience with Edmonton Zone Allied Health Community Programming is preferred.
