The primary responsibility of the Administrative Support III is performing clerical duties and managing patient information to support patient care activities for Community Health Homecare and Public Health Services with minimal supervision. In this role duties will include reception, appointment scheduling, security and confidentiality of information, correspondence, data entry, file systems maintenance, records management and/or other related duties as required.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Typing proficiency with neatness and accuracy in layout of material; thorough knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar required. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent working knowledge of computers; must have advanced skills in Power Point, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proven ability to show good judgment, use initiative, demonstrate strong organizational skills and effectively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Exhibits flexibility by adjusting routines to changing circumstances or department needs. Ability to work without close supervision. Exceptional telephone skills and experience working with the public. Ability to establish priorities and develop plans in order to meet deadlines; ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment in a calm and efficient manner. Able to adapt to stressful situations and use tact and diplomacy, able to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to meet the physical demands required.

Post-graduate Office Administration Diploma preferred. Minimum of 3 years previous experience preferred.
