YOUR ROLE:

The Cargo Clerk is responsible for processing cargo for scheduled flights and providing professional customer service by responding to telephone inquiries. The successful candidate will weigh cargo, calculate shipping charges, prepare cargo manifests, complete daily sales reports and flight documentation, and process all required paperwork for dangerous goods and other cargo-related activities. The role also includes relaying operational messages to the Operations Control Department to ensure efficient coordination of flight operations. When required, the incumbent will perform ramp duties in accordance with the established job description and carry out other related tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of the cargo operations.

  • You have strong computer skills.
  • You are physically fit and capable of safely lifting and handling boxes and other cargo.
  • You are recognized for your punctuality.
  • You are reliable.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Cree language is an asset.
  • You have a valid driver’s license. You may be asked to travel for work.
