Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for Trans-Canada Capital’s financial planning and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of priorities. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are also crucial skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning and forecasting
- Manage the annual budget process in collaboration with management and the various business units
- Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly budget analysis reports, and bring all financial issues to management
- Submit detailed monthly financial reports to the managers of the departments
- Define and keep track of the key performance indicators (KPIs) and the goals
- Oversee and monitor the renewal of all existing contracts with the business units
- In some cases, negotiate contract renewals with suppliers
- Develop, manage and improve processes to ensure efficient data analysis
- Ensure a consistently high level of quality in service provided in terms of timeliness, accuracy and user-
friendliness - Participate in special projects and perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration and accounting designation
- Five to eight years of relevant accounting experience
- Excellent command of the Microsoft 365 suite (particularly Excel)
- Experience with the Microsoft Power BI visualization tool (an asset)
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Ariba (an asset)
- Bilingual (spoken and written), French and English essential: This position requires bilingualism at the professional level to provide support to clients and employees located outside of Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
