Working under the direction of the Manager, Digital Product, the Product Owner for Crew OpsMOD is responsible for representing business needs and ensuring delivery of solutions that support crew scheduling, tracking, planning, and pay processes.
This role combines strong operational expertise with product ownership accountability. The Product Owner ensures that delivered capabilities align with business priorities, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements, while
delivering measurable value to the organization.
This role is suited for an experienced crew operations professional who brings both deep domain expertise and the ability to lead product decisions. The Product Owner plays a critical role in ensuring that OpsMOD delivers practical, reliable, and high-value solutions that meet the needs of the business and its stakeholders.
Responsibilities Product Ownership & Prioritization
- Own and manage the product backlog for Crew OpsMOD-related capabilities
- Define, prioritize, and continuously refine business requirements based on operational needs
- Make informed decisions on scope, trade-offs, and priorities to maximize business value
- Partner with leadership to support product vision and roadmap development
- Act as the primary liaison between operations, business stakeholders, and delivery teams
- Engage stakeholders across Crew Scheduling, Tracking, Planning, and Pay functions
- Balance competing priorities to ensure timelines are met
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure solutions meet business expectations
Validation & Quality Assurance
- Support testing strategy including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and operational realities
- Provide structured feedback to ensure usability, accuracy, and completeness
- Review and validate user guides, training materials, and system documentation
- Ensure content accurately reflects business processes and system
Qualifications
- Significant experience in crew scheduling, planning, tracking, or pay environments (typically 3+ years preferred)
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with crew systems (e.g., Netline, Jeppesen, PBS or equivalent) is an asset
- Ability to make decisions and manage competing priorities under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Conditions of Eployment:
