Workshop Supervisor – Welding

Work location: La Baie, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, QC
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Friday to Sunday
36 hours worked, 40 hours paid
Annual salary: $80,000 to $120,000, based on experience
Work arrangement: On-site only

Agence de Placement Trésor Inc. is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients in the heavy industrial manufacturing sector for a Workshop Supervisor specializing in welding. The successful candidate will supervise workshop operations, lead production teams, and ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.

• Lead, coach, and supervise workshop teams

• Respond to internal and external client requests

• Promote a strong health and safety culture

• Perform flux-core welding on steel and aluminum when required

• Read and interpret technical drawings to guide production teams

• Verify and validate completed work

• Implement process improvements and organizational strategies

• Demonstrate strong leadership, autonomy, and sound judgment

• Over 5 years of experience in industrial welding

• Valid CWB certification

• Experience welding steel and aluminum, all positions, flux-core

• Proven experience supervising personnel

• Strong focus on health and safety

• Leadership, initiative, and autonomy
