This includes numerous public entities and Public-Private Partnerships in Canada and abroad. Our Highways division is looking to add a Transfer Unit Operator for the 2024 Road Construction Season. This role will require extensive travel throughout southern Alberta and Southern Saskatchewan. The Transfer Unit Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of materials on site. Key Responsibilities Transfer units to load, transport, and unload materials (asphalts, aggregates, etc.) Communicating properly with team to coordinate delivery schedules. Follow transportation regulations and road safety protocols. Commit to Aecons policies and procedures including safety. Perform routine maintenance on machines, when required. Required Knowledge and Skills Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 50lbs. Willing to work out of town and in remote locations, as required. Willing to work overtime, as required.
