AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and creative leader who will be responsible for managing, leading, and developing an engineering team that is working with pre- and post-silicon hardware, software, and diagnostic teams to help ensure silicon success and rapid silicon validation of our products. Your team is responsible for creating and managing manufacturing test confent and readiness. THE PERSON: Strong communication and team-working skills are essential, with a validated ability to lead and influence. Validated experience inspiring change and working across functions and geographies to deliver products to specific critical metrics. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspire, develop and lead a team of engineering/production staff to deliver software test suites to validate complex assembly of MI300 products in MFG Leverage extensive experience in IC Design, Validation to influence Roadmap and Test Requirements/Deliverables in cross-functional Program and Leadership forums Influnce team to adopt best practices in Test and Product Engineering to drive quality, yield and customer satisfaction of AMD's DCGPU product line Breadth of experience and understanding of ASIC & Board Test Methods via SW/Scripting Experience interfacing with Ofshore Assembly & Test Vendors Translating Program Validation goals into software test methods to expose Silicon and FW bugs Ability to operate in a fast paced enviroment with focus on delivery of quality products in line with everchanging business needs Background in Electrical/Computer ENG and expertise in Phython Previous experience analyzing tradeoff to balance Quality and Yield MFG Test Program Roadmap planning for upcoming AI/HPC product offerings PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Deep knowledge in design for manufacturing and test methodologies Prior, preferably recent, experience working within the Semiconductor industry blending both engineering expertise with team leadership skills Knowledge of graphics, display, and/or multimedia technologies is ideal Experience with automation and validation methodologies Experience with pre- or post-silicon verification/validation, power, and performance analysis ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred LOCATION: Markham, ON #LI-SL2 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
