Work You Will Do:

The Hosting & Migration Solution Engineer supports Accenture’s global Ventures & Acquisitions (V&A) program by delivering secure hosting integration and cloud migration solutions. This is a hands-on technical role combining infrastructure design with migration execution, working closely with acquired company IT teams, global Accenture stakeholders, and technology vendors. The role requires strong cloud, virtualization, and migration expertise and the ability to operate across global time zones. There are no people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver hosting integration and cloud migration solutions for V&A initiatives.

  • Execute migrations from legacy environments to cloud and hybrid hosting platforms.

  • Assess, size, and deploy compute, storage, and Hosting infrastructure in data centers and public cloud.

  • Perform native, containerized, and modern application migrations and deployments.

  • Apply cloud security, backup, and data protection best practices.

  • Use standardized migration tools and methodologies to ensure repeatable outcomes.

  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Document architecture, migration approaches, and solution blueprints.

  • No team management - execution-focused individual contributor role.

  • Hybrid, travel to other locations for complex acquisitions may be required.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

  • Multi-cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP.

  • 4+ years of hands-on migration experience using tools such as Azure Migrate, AWS MGN, HCX, Carbonite, or similar.

  • 4+ years of experience sizing and deploying compute and storage in enterprise and cloud environments.

  • Proven experience building cloud infrastructure and networking.

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual, global teams.

  • Strong virtualization expertise (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).

  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security, backup, and data migration.

  • Containers, orchestration platforms, and serverless architectures.

  • DevOps and infrastructure automation (Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible).

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
