Description
- (Internal Title: Quality Lead)
- Maintains, assesses, and enhances the Integrated Project Team quality management system and updates the IPT Quality Management Plan annually
- Forecast, direct, and execute appropriate means and methods to complete the consulting services on large-size, or high-complexity projects from inception through to completion
- Converses with the segment leadership team, produces an overall monthly quality dashboard to convey key quality metrics, and recommends quality improvements if required
- Monitor staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines
- Conducts a quality review of all IPT plans and procedures at the time of renewal
- Provides leadership and support to the achievement of construction quality field delivery in keeping with Client established goals, standards, processes, and procedures. Where necessary, liaises with the Quality Manager to develop processes and procedures and lead training and coaching as required for consistent compliance
- Drives successful outcomes on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for specified Segment, which may be modified each year as the project evolves
- Understands specifications related to construction materials, equipment, installation processes, finishes, testing and handover
- Fluent in the use of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) as the controlling document for quality of the finished works or systems
- Provides direction and support to the deployed IPT construction quality personnel so that they are equipped to hold the Contractors accountable for following their construction processes, specifications, and ITPs
- Participates in / supports audits of the contractors’ quality and construction processes
- Champions standardizing construction quality, in compliance with contract quality requirements
- Manage and support the negotiation of scope changes
- Oversee the internal quality control checks and participate in quality issue resolution
- Coordinates with Project Field Services, Engineer Specialist on standardization of approach to construction activities and the implementation of the construction quality program
- Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle
- Recommend and interpret project and program expectations
- Delegate and manage deliverables with team members and stakeholders
- Complete any tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher in an efficient and timely manner
- Onsite at Client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Consulting in area of specialty
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Certified QMS 2015 Auditor or have experience in a similar quality management representative role for a transit project of a similar scope to this Project and have successfully completed an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course
- A firm understanding of and experience in Engineering and Construction procedures, principles, and concepts
- A working knowledge of ISO 9001 and its application in Engineering and Construction projects
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
- Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence
- Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience in overseeing implementation of Quality program based on ISO 9001:2015 structuring
- Experience with conducting Internal and External Audits based on ISO 9001:2015 Standard Requirements
- Experience with NCR Management and verify implementation of the corrective action
