You Are:

The CIS Delivery Lead is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of Clinical Information System programs, including EHR implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations, and optimization initiatives. The role leads delivery across clinical, technical, vendor, and client teams, ensuring programs meet scope, schedule, quality, and regulatory requirements while supporting safe clinical operations.

This role is commonly utilized in large healthcare transformations involving Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, or Altera, particularly in public‑sector health systems.

The Role:

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead and mobilize multi‑disciplinary delivery teams, including internal staff, vendors, and client resources
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery accountability for CIS programs or workstreams
  • Ensure adherence to formal delivery methodologies, governance, and quality assurance standards
  • Manage scope, change control, schedule, dependencies, and delivery risks

Program & Execution Management

  • Revalidate delivery estimates at key lifecycle milestones
  • Track delivery metrics and performance against baseline plans
  • Ensure readiness for major milestones (design, build, testing, go‑live, stabilization)
  • Resolve or escalate delivery issues impacting patient safety, timelines, or cost

Clinical & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner closely with clinical leaders, informatics leads, and operational stakeholders
  • Ensure CIS solutions align with clinical workflows and care delivery models
  • Act as a primary escalation point for delivery and integration challenges
  • Support executive‑level reporting and governance forums

Vendor & Integration Management

  • Coordinate delivery across CIS vendors (Epic, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, etc.)
  • Oversee integration between CIS platforms and ancillary systems (lab, pharmacy, imaging, revenue cycle)
  • Ensure vendor deliverables align with contractual and clinical requirements

Quality, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with information governance, privacy, and security policies
  • Participate in delivery quality reviews and remediation activities
  • Identify risks to clinical operations or patient safety and ensure mitigation plans are in place
Qualification

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in health IT or clinical systems delivery

  • Proven leadership of large‑scale CIS / EHR implementations or transformations

  • Experience with one or more major CIS platforms (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH, Altera)

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across clinical, technical, and executive audiences

  • Background in healthcare delivery, clinical informatics, or large public‑sector programs preferred

  • A high school diploma or GED is required for this position

  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
