SAP Analyst
Exempt Level 7c - $93,203 - $114,768
Position Summary:
Reporting to the SAP Program Supervisor, the SAP Analyst will be responsible for configuring and optimizing SAP modules to meet evolving business needs, while also supporting custom development using ABAP programming. The role involves close collaboration with functional teams to ensure seamless SAP operations and continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
- Configure, test, and maintain SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, HCM) to support business operations and ensure system integration.
- Evaluate business processes and translate them into SAP configuration requirements.
- Design and implement custom SAP applications using tools such as ABAP, SAPScript, iDocs, BAPI, RFC, and Fiori.
- Design and deliver custom or enhanced reports and data extracts for management and staff.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and in-house developed systems as well as develops and builds application tables and panels as required
- Conduct systems analysis and development to ensure efficient SAP module administration.
- Maintain clear documentation for configurations, custom code, and process flows.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of SAP configuration experience in at least one core module (FI, MM, or HCM).
- 2-3 years of experience of ABAP programming and familiarity with SAP development tools such as SAPScript, BAPI, RFC, and iDocs
- Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA.
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform and integration tools is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent understanding of SAP configuration tools and methodologies.
- Strong technical skills in reporting, Userexits, BDC and Call-Transaction, interfaces (ALE, IDOC, BAPI), Module Pool, SAPScript, Smart Forms, and Object-Oriented ABAP, Business Add-Ins.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and data modelling.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies through independent research and self-directed training.
