The Opportunity
The person in this position oversees the indirect sales of Allison Transmission Inc. (ATI) products.
The Role
- Meet with customers and help them select the right products for their needs.
- Offer various product options and extended warranty programs.
- Perform product performance evaluations based on customer requirements (SCAAN program).
- Promote Wajax workshops to increase parts and service revenue.
- Ensure communication between the dealer network, the distributor, and Allison Transmission Inc.
The Candidate
- College diploma or combination of education and relevant technical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy truck industry
- Experience in financial analysis and proposal calculation
- Experience in writing proposals or estimates
- Experience in designing and presenting technical solutions to customers
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience in commercial negotiation
- Dynamism, autonomy, efficiency, and organizational skills
- Proactive management of a designated sales territory
- Ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of project management
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to listen to customer needs
- Sense of initiative and willingness to generate opportunities
- Strong consulting and technical sales skills for products ranging from the simplest to the most complex
- Customer service orientation
- Availability to travel (more than 50% of the time)

Compensation:
Base pay $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per annum plus generous commission. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
