The Field Service Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting CI (Capital Initiatives), Store Teams and Contractors by driving timely issue resolution and ensuring successful project execution in stores. Serving as the key liaison between Field Capital Project Managers ,field teams, contractors and cross-functional partners, the Field Service Coordinator drives operational efficiency by identifying, escalating, and resolving execution issues with urgency and precision. This role requires strong communication skills in both English and French, a sharp attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset to continuously improve the execution process and deliver high quality output. The successful candidate will be located at SSC in Toronto but needs to be be fully bilingual to support teams in French Speaking Provinces effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for identifying, tracking, escalating, and resolving CI project-related issues.
- Monitor and manage issue logs within Compass to ensure transparency and alignment with FCPM(Field Capital Project Manager) and IPM (Implementation Planning Manager)
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning and resolution processes.
- Facilitate timely, clear communication among cross-functional teams including Visual Merchandising, Space Planning & Analytics, Store Planning, Consolidation & Logistics, Fixture Design, and Procurement.
- Prepare and present regular status reports detailing issue progress and potential impacts on CI project timelines.
- Proactively follow up on unresolved project deficiencies to ensure stakeholder (Contractor) accountability and timely resolution.
- Prioritize and escalate critical issues that threaten project deliverables, safety, or the overall customer experience.
- Leverage tools such as SAP, Compass, Layouts, Planograms, ePOP, and Article Lookup to support issue resolution and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Approve component orders and coordinate with Procurement to expedite materials when necessary.
- Manage multiple projects in both English and French, communicating effectively in both written and verbal French.

- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication in both English and French: Able to convey updates clearly to all levels of stakeholders and provide accurate bilingual documentation.
