Who we are looking for

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced data product development technologist, Assistance Vice President to join our global Digital, Analytics and Innovation team. To succeed in this role, you need to have a deep understanding of building consistent, relevant and impactful data products, data solutions and visualizations for Corporate Audit by leveraging the enterprise suite of tools.

What you will be responsible for

As Data Product Development, Assistance Vice President, you will

  • Work as part of an international team, collaborating closely with global peers for infrastructure, security, application, and business audit.
  • Prepare technical specifications for medium and large size complex projects in accordance with security and architecture documentation objectives.
  • Create application road maps and lead the implementation of data products that enhance the auditor experience.
  • Influence design decisions within the product development lifecycle to adhere to the highest levels of technical development standards.
  • Conduct and contribute to design and code reviews ensuring organizational standards are met.
  • Partner with data scientists and data engineers to develop and implement data solutions within the approved Corporate Audit data ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the timely execution of innovative analytics-based and process automation solution development across the global Corporate Audit team.
  • Drive assurance and visualization of results and quantitative analytics.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the bank’s IT organization.

  • Experience with medium and large end to end data product development.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, working independently and developing relationships with global stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership ability across all levels coupled with effective problem solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
  • Fluency in English - written and spoken.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience working in the banking or financial services industry or other regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies and tools (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Alteryx)
  • Exposure to Big Data Initiatives such as Hadoop, Hive, Cloudera, or large data warehousing initiatives.
  • Experience with programming and analytic languages such as Python, Flask, React, NodeJS; working experience with large and diverse RDBMS OLTP or OLAP data stores (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
