The Wealth Marketing Co-op provides hands-on experience supporting marketing initiatives that help financial advisors and their clients achieve their financial goals. As part of Manulife Wealth, you'll contribute to a variety of projects spanning digital marketing, social media, content publishing, website management, campaign execution, and marketing operations. Working alongside experienced marketing professionals, you'll gain exposure to brand strategy, compliance processes, stakeholder management, and digital execution while supporting high-profile initiatives that enhance the advisor and client experience.

This opportunity is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, digital strategy, and financial services who are looking to build practical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work cross-functionally with teams including Creative, Digital, Compliance, Editorial, and Business Marketing while developing foundational skills for a future career in marketing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of organic social media initiatives, including content coordination, calendar management, market research, and performance tracking.

  • Assist with the development, publishing, and maintenance of marketing materials across digital platforms.

  • Manage marketing collateral through compliance approval processes, partnering with marketing and compliance teams to ensure timely reviews.

  • Coordinate project workflows, including translation requests, content updates, and end-to-end marketing production activities.

  • Support website and advisor platform updates to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand standards.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, creative, digital, and business teams to support marketing initiatives and campaigns.

  • Conduct market research and gather insights to support strategic marketing decisions and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Provide administrative and project support for ongoing marketing and communication initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, communications, digital strategy, or financial services.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and marketing technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.

  • Experience with content management systems, project management platforms, or marketing tools is considered an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between:
$40,950.00 CAD - $56,550.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work term.
