Our construction and infrastructure client is seeking a Technical Support Analyst (5+ years) to deliver on-site and remote support for Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments

Join a distributed IT support team serving critical construction and manufacturing operations across Canada. This role provides hands-on technical support for Windows, server, network, telephony, and business application environments within a high-impact infrastructure organization. It offers ownership of field support, system troubleshooting, and infrastructure stability in a dynamic regional coverage model.

Contract, Edmonton and Toronto. roles available


Must Haves

  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server administration including Active Directory (users, groups, GPO)
  • Support expertise in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint) and Teams telephony
  • Strong LAN/WAN troubleshooting experience including DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and VPN connectivity
  • Hands-on hardware support for workstations, printers, imaging, rebuild, and break/fix operations
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Background in construction or manufacturing environments
  • Experience with PowerShell fundamentals for support automation
  • Knowledge of ITSM ticketing, incident prioritization, and SLA tracking
  • Exposure to AI-assisted support workflows and documentation automation

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for systems, networks, and devices
  • Prioritize and manage incoming service requests by phone, email, and in person
  • Travel to regional locations to resolve critical system and connectivity issues
  • Coordinate with IT services teams to analyze issues and share solutions
  • Lead local infrastructure and security projects within assigned territory
  • Support business applications and perform technology refresh activities
  • Analyze recurring issues to recommend training or process improvements
