Sr. SAP QM/PTM Business Process Lead to support the current ERP Business Systems (SAP ECC 6 EHP8) and its transition to S/4 Hana

Our valued client is looking for a Sr. SAP QM/PTM Business Process Lead to support the current ERP Business Systems (SAP ECC 6 EHP8) and its transition to S/4 Hana

Tasks include:

• Serve as the projects main point of contact Business Process Owner (BPO) for SAP QM streams
• Liaise directly with other business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into SAP solutions
• Ensure effective integration of SAP PTM/QM with other SAP modules and third-party systems
• Oversee implementation and delivery, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and quality goals
• Manage end user expectations and provide post-implementation support
• Lead process improvement initiatives and drive innovation across SAP solutions
• Gather business requirements through collaboration with stakeholders, business users, and functional consultants to understand the processes related to production planning, quality management, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Configure and customize SAP PP and QM functionality to ensure seamless business process integration.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed during system configuration and implementation.
• Oversee testing, deployment, and post-implementation support for SAP PP/QM solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex production and quality-related issues and provide ongoing support to users.
• Work on SAP enhancements, modifications, and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
• Provide training to SME’s (Train the Trainers) an ad-hoc end-users
• Using Signavio, Visio PowerPoint, develop and document user training materials.
• Support system upgrades, migration projects, and enhancements, working closely with technical teams and functional consultants.
• Stay current with SAP best practices, new features, and industry trends related to PP/QM.

Must have:

• Eligible for Controlled Goods clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in SAP & S/4 Hana Fiori QM/PTM modules, with at least 3 years in a lead consultant role w/ Full lifecycle Go-live implementations
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP and QM business processes, including production planning, scheduling, material management, quality control, and integration with other SAP modules
• Experience in SAP PTM/QM configuration, customization, and troubleshooting
• Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
• Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules like MM, SD, PM, and WM
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA & Fiori user platform
• Experience with external sub-assembly or complex workbench and routing process - cross plant etc.
• Ability to work effectively with business users and technical teams
• Ability to influence business partners and 3rd party implementation consultants and manage client relationships

Nice to have:

• SAP certification in SAP PTM/QM or related SAP modules - 7+years’ experience in S/4 Hana Go-Live implementations in lieu of certifications is acceptable
• Experience in discrete PTM/QM manufacturing to Order experience is a big plus
• Experience with SAP Fiori or other front-end solutions
• Knowledge of SAP Master Data, Forms, Quality Modules value stream process relationship to: Contracts, Supplier Q-Info Records, Receiving, Inspection Lots, Usage Decisions, Certificate of Conformances and quality management best practices
• Knowledge/usage of Cognitus
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform, Fiori
• 2 SAP full lifecycle implementations
• Significant SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)
• Travel up to 30% as required by project
• Bilingual (English/French) is preferred
