Sr. Project Manager with Application Development/Rollout experience to manage $1M-$10M projects for our Engineering Services client

Overview:

As a member of the IT Services team, you will report to the Senior IT Program Manager and be responsible for:

• Undertaking internal project management assignments to meet the specific needs of the organizations Divisions and Functions
• Manage cross-disciplinary teams to ensure progress and delivery of products in accordance with agreed timescales, quality, processes and procedures
• Ensure practical and pragmatic application of delivery approaches, providing an understanding and consultative approach
• Work closely with customers, aiding the development and delivery of requirements to enable accurate and clear understanding of needs and aspirations
• Negotiate resources required for project delivery teams
• Assist with the creation of business cases for projects if required
• Interface with and manage outsourced and managed service partners to ensure best value solutions are delivered across the organization
• Negotiate resources required for Project Delivery Teams, both internally and from partnered organizations

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of IT Project Management
• Hybrid project delivery experience (Agile and Waterfall models)
• Application Development and Rollout project experience
• Working knowledge and application of techniques including business case preparation, requirements management, planning, risk and issue management, change control, and configuration management
• Experience of budget and cost management and control
• Appreciation of user-experience, business and commercial issues is a must.
