Sr. Business Analyst to support a critical Disaster Recovery & MVC initiative to strengthen operational resiliency (20220)

Our large, enterprise Oil & Gas client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to support a critical Disaster Recovery & MVC initiative to strengthen operational resiliency.

This is an initial contract until Dec 31, 2026, with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will follow a hybrid working model of 3 days onsite in downtown Calgary.

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex, enterprise-scale programs.
• Strong experience with business process analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Experience working with IT, infrastructure, or enterprise platforms in a regulated environment.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), MVC, or Operational Resiliency initiatives.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience supporting audit remediation or regulatory-driven programs.
• Prior involvement in cyber resilience or crisis response initiatives.
• Familiarity with BIAs, recovery tiering, application dependencies, and recovery sequencing.

Scope: This role directly supports closing critical audit findings and establishing a mature, tested, and sustainable DR and MVC capability across the enterprise. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in enabling the organization to withstand and recover from major disruptions.
