Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Sr. Android Developer (Kotlin/Kotlin Flows) to build greenfield e-commerce platforms across Grocery, Pharma, and Apparel business domains.

They are building and scaling e-commerce and fulfillment solutions for their retail brands. This role is focused on building internal Android tools (used by store staff) and consumer-facing features (used post-purchase by customers). You'll join a collaborative, product-driven team developing high-impact apps that are used every day in-store and at home.

Duration: Until End of December 2025, to start

Location: Toronto (Bathurst and Lakeshore) - 1 day/week onsite mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Android apps used by both store staff (e.g., pricing, fulfillment) and customers (e.g., post-purchase experience)
• Develop new mobile features that support rapid delivery, real-time order tracking, and seamless returns
• Partner with backend teams to define and consume APIs tailored for mobile performance
• Ensure a consistent and responsive experience across devices and app states
• Define best practices for architecture, testing, and code organization across the mobile codebase

Must Have Skills:

• 7+ years of Android development experience
• Strong Kotlin and Kotlin Flows expertise
• Experience with modern Android architecture components
• Familiarity with REST APIs and mobile-first backend integration
