Sr Cyber Security Engineer to design and implement DLP policies (Palo Alto DLP / Prisma)

Contract Duration: Initial term until Jan 30th, 2027

Location: 3-4 Days on-sight at Brampton / South Mississauga HQ

Our client, a large enterprise retail organization, is seeking a Sr Cyber Security Engineer to support the design and implementation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across a complex environment.

This role is part of an accelerated security initiative, focused on enhancing data protection controls across a large population of users and endpoints.

This is a policy-first role focused on designing and developing DLP controls using Palo Alto DLP and enforcing them across the Prisma ecosystem.

• Design and implement DLP policies to protect sensitive enterprise data
• Develop policy logic aligned to user risk profiles and data sensitivity
• Configure and support DLP enforcement across Prisma Access, Prisma Agent, and Prisma Browser
• Work with engineering teams to deploy endpoint-based DLP controls
• Identify gaps in existing controls and recommend improvements
• Support rollout of DLP capabilities across a large enterprise environment
• Partner with stakeholders to balance security requirements with business usability

• 7-10+ years of experience in Cyber Security / DLP Engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto DLP (required)
• Proven experience designing and developing DLP policies (not just monitoring)
• Experience working within the Prisma ecosystem (Access, Agent, or Browser)
• Strong understanding of data classification, policy enforcement, and endpoint controls
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
