Senior SAP Testing Lead to oversee end-to-end testing activities for large-scale SAP programs.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Testing Lead to oversee end-to-end testing activities for large-scale SAP programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned testing professional with strong leadership capabilities and deep expertise in SAP environments, particularly within utilities or IS-U implementations.

Duration - 6 months plus extension

Location - Markham, Ontario (Travel and Accommodations is expensed)

Work Mode - 3 days per week on site is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of the testing lifecycle, including planning, strategy, execution, defect management, and reporting
• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines
• Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring optimal test coverage and quality outcomes
• Coordinate and manage testing activities across multiple systems, teams, and vendors
• Ensure seamless integration of automation frameworks into overall testing strategy
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to validate requirements and ensure quality delivery
• Monitor and report on testing progress, risks, and issues, providing proactive mitigation strategies
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies

Must Haves

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a Test Manager or Lead role
• Strong experience in SAP testing, preferably within SAP IS-U or utilities industry programs
• Proven experience managing testing for both greenfield and brownfield SAP implementations
• Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Demonstrated experience integrating and overseeing automation testing within SAP projects
• Expertise with SAP-focused automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or similar platforms
• Experience managing complex test cycles across multiple systems and third-party vendors
• Strong understanding of utilities business processes, including:
