Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer with advanced expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex development, and REST integrations to help modernize our Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud platforms. This role is part of a major initiative to consolidate multiple legacy call center and banking systems into a unified Salesforce solution.
The ideal candidate started in Salesforce Administration, advanced into a Developer role, and ideally has a Java development background, providing strong coding fundamentals, query writing, and integration experience. This position is structured as 80% new development and 20% production support.
Location: Brampton (1 day/week onsite)
Duration: 1 Year (to start)
Responsibilities:
- Development (80%)
- Develop advanced Lightning Web Components (LWC) for Service Cloud and Sales Cloud interfaces.
- Create robust Apex classes, triggers, and backend logic to support business processes.
- Design and implement REST integrations with internal applications, digital platforms, and microservices.
- Write optimized SOQL and SQL queries to support application logic, integrations, and reporting.
- Migrate functionality from legacy systems into Salesforce as part of platform consolidation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, BA’s, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, and peer code reviews.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines (Git, automated deployments) to manage releases and maintain code quality.
- Production Support (20%)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring platform stability and business continuity.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Support call center teams and business users for system-related issues.
Key Must-Haves:
- 7-8+ years of Salesforce experience, starting as an Admin and growing into a Developer role.
- Expert-level LWC development experience.
- Proven experience with Apex development including classes, triggers, and backend logic.
- Strong experience with REST integrations connecting Salesforce to internal apps or microservices.
- Experience writing SOQL/SQL queries for data operations and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Service Cloud (required) and Sales Cloud (preferred).
- Strong debugging and production support skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and structured release processes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with business stakeholders
