Senior Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Engineer (QE) with 8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong automation skills in both API and front-end testing (Mobile/Web), good lead capabilities, and the ability to work independently with cross-functional teams. A proactive mindset, good communication skills, and familiarity with AI-driven solutions are essential. While domain experience isn’t a primary focus, knowledge of the banking sector would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead functional Quality Engineering (QE) efforts independently and collaboratively with teams/ Squads.

• Develop and execute robust automation frameworks for API and front-end testing (Mobile/Web) with Developer and AI mindset.

• Act as a proactive problem solver by identifying issues and implementing solutions without waiting for instructions.

• Leverage AI tools and capabilities to enhance testing processes and efficiency.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Plan, prioritize, and manage QA tasks, ensuring timely delivery of testing milestones.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure clear reporting of testing progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in Quality Engineering.

• Technical Skills: Proven expertise in API and front-end automation for Mobile/Web applications.

• Leadership: Strong functional QE leadership skills, with the ability to work independently.

• AI Knowledge: Experience and understanding of AI-driven solutions and tools.

• Banking Knowledge: Familiarity with banking concepts is a plus but not mandatory.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Work Ethic: Self-starter with a strong ability to plan and execute independently without requiring constant guidance.

• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Appium and Rest Assured,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with large-scale enterprise applications.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Postman is an asset
