Our large, enterprise client is seeking Senior Project Manager to lead Finance transformation initiatives focused on operational efficiency, AI enablement, automation, and digital modernization within a complex enterprise organization

This role leads end-to-end delivery of financial and technology-based projects supporting operational excellence and strategic growth. The position offers visibility across executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring impactful outcomes for business processes and systems transformation.

6-month initial contract with a possibility of extension

Must Haves

• Experience as a Project Manager leading finance transformation initiatives focused on operational efficiency, AI enablement, automation, and digital modernization.
• Experience delivering business or technology projects involving enterprise platforms such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, or other large-scale ERP systems/business systems.
• Strong stakeholder management experience partnering with finance, business, and technology teams across complex enterprise environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving business process improvement and technology enablement.
• Strong project management experience delivering multiple concurrent initiatives within fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of accounting and finance practices gained through education or direct experience
• Experience managing complex technology and process integrations within financial business areas
• Strong analytical orientation and ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments
• Industry-recognized Project Management certification with post-certification experience
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution

Responsibilities

• Facilitate definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with Project Sponsors and Steering Committee members
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and timely
• Estimate resources and submit budget proposals while ensuring effective financial and resource management
• Develop comprehensive project plans, resource schedules, and track milestones using planning tools
• Prepare and present status reports and Steering Committee updates
• Manage changes in project scope, identify issues, and implement contingency plans
• Build and maintain business relationships critical to project success and adoption
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned and future recommendations
