Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (10+ years) with SAP implementation experience to lead concurrent ITS Capital projects implementing SAP S/4HANA and customer-facing technology initiatives

Join a high-visibility public transit organization driving enterprise and customer transformation through the SAP SOGR and Wayfinding Strategy programs. This role oversees end-to-end project delivery across finance, procurement, and supply chain technology domains while managing system-wide wayfinding modernization for enhanced passenger navigation and accessibility. The position provides ownership of complex capital projects within a regulated environment and direct engagement with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Must Haves

• PMP certification with 8+ years leading capital portfolio and multi-project management initiatives
• Hands-on delivery of SAP S/4HANA solutions across finance, procurement, materials, and supply chain domains
• Experience managing concurrent ITS Capital projects within a large, public-sector organization
• Post-secondary education in business, finance, engineering, or a related discipline

Nice to Have

• Experience with customer-facing transit technology and wayfinding initiatives
• Background in transportation industry projects
• Proven success managing cross-functional, matrixed teams in transformation environments

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, budget, resources, schedule, and communications across assigned projects
• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams including BAs, SMEs, and vendors
• Produce project documentation per IT PM Framework including schedules and risk logs
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Define and monitor milestones, deliverables, and cost/resource plans
• Report project status and financials to sponsors and Steering Committees
• Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and organizational goals
