Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee multiple streams of an HR-related transformation projects
100% remote in Canada, 1 year contract to start
Must haves:
- 7+ years of experience as a Program Manager with a preference for someone who has experience from large-scale Human Resource/HRIS programs or enterprise transformation programs
- Experience implementing HRIS enterprise systems and/or HR operations enterprise changes (operating model design, automation, and process simplification.)
- Experience in program governance, risk management, executive level stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination within a corporate PMO or shared services environment
- Experience leading 4-6 Project Managers and their associated teams with 30+ people
Nice to haves:
- PMP or PgM certifications or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, IT, or a related discipline
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of complex HR and business transformation Program that include HR technology enablement (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), process redesign, and change management.
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and PMO leaders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics aligned to organizational strategy.
- Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and senior HR leaders, demonstrating the presence and credibility required to manage challenging or conflicting priorities.
- Drive structured planning and execution using the most appropriate methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) based on project type, complexity, and outcomes.
- Oversee project budgets, resourcing, and timelines to ensure efficient use of financial and human capital.
- Identify dependencies and risks across workstreams, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and proactively communicated.
- Collaborate with Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Communications teams to drive adoption, readiness, and successful transition to new ways of working.
