Our GTA based, Municipal Government Client requires the services of a Senior Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle APEX developer to develop and support programs in their highly complex environment.

ROLE:

Senior level Oracle APEX developer required for planning, designing, developing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining information and/or industrial technology systems in a highly complex enterprise environment

The Development Specialist will provide technical and development expertise and advice in the areas of initiation, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and sustainment of divisional systems solutions. To contribute to the development of internal applications.

MUST HAVE:

• University degree in computer science or a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Considerable experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL coding techniques for development and troubleshooting, database management of Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases, Microsoft IIS, and Oracle APEX
• Extensive experience in the design of user interface specifications, by applying client research, design standards, and industry best practices, considering strategic business objectives, user needs, and systems constraints.
• Performing detailed analysis of business processes and data to identify problems and potential solutions. This experience must include the ability to gather and clearly document “as is” and “to be” processes and perform necessary gap analysis etc.
• Extensive experience working with user-centered design (UCD) techniques & demonstrated ability to incorporate those UCD principles into architecture and user interfaces.
• Extensive experience in gathering and translating user requirements from diverse stakeholders, including subject matter experts (SMEs), users, and business analysts. Skilled in transforming these ideas into prototype design mock-ups, with a strong foundation in design thinking.
