Description
Our client has a requirement for a Senior OCM / Business Analyst with Change Management, Training & Stakeholder Engagement Experience for Complex Student Information System (SIS) Implementation.
9-month assignment with extension
Must have:
- 7+ years of experience delivering both OCM and Business Analysis on large, multi-stakeholder technology projects.
- Strong skills in change impact assessment, readiness planning, training development, and communication.
- Ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements with full traceability.
- Expertise in process mapping (as-is / to-be), workflows, and business rules.
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement across diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently and represent the client in executive and project meetings.
- Consultant must supply their own equipment (e.g., laptop).
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working with post-secondary institutions, government entities, or complex public-sector organizations.
- Knowledge of Transition to Operations practices.
- Familiarity with large vendor-led technology implementation projects.
- Experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS), particularly course-based models or environments with application, continuing education, or student portals.
Responsibilities:
Organizational Change Management (60%)
- Lead change planning and execution for a major technology transformation.
- Develop targeted change strategies, communications, and readiness plans.
- Identify risks and resistance; create mitigation strategies ensuring sustained adoption.
- Manage training strategy, content development, and rollout in partnership with business SMEs.
- Coordinate with Colleges, Government of Saskatchewan, and vendors for aligned change activities.
- Represent the client in project team meetings, workshops, steering committees, and working groups.
Business Analysis (40%)
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and manage business requirements.
- Document as-is and to-be processes, workflows, and business rules.
- Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and solution teams.
- Support Transition to Operations with vendors and college teams.
- Collaborate with Senior BA, Technical Lead, and Ministry representatives.
- Contribute to additional responsibilities as the project evolves.
