Senior Maximo Architect for an Enterprise Asset Management program

S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior Maximo Architect for an Enterprise Asset Management program

1 year contract to start. Fully remote working PST.

Skills:

• 8+ years of experience working with IBM Maximo, with a strong understanding of the platform and its capabilities
• 3+ years operating in an Architecture role, such as Solution Architect or Technical Architect
• Solid experience across key Maximo EAM modules including Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, and Procurement
• Practical experience building and supporting Maximo integrations, including MIF and API-based integrations (REST/SOAP, Web Services)
• Experience supporting or leading Maximo upgrades, as well as system performance optimization and tuning
• Strong knowledge of Maximo database architecture, with experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2
• Comfortable working within large, complex enterprise environments with multiple integrated systems
• Strong ability to engage with stakeholders, communicate technical solutions clearly, and provide architectural guidance

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and technical design for the Maximo platform upgrade and modernization.
• Define the migration strategy from Maximo 7.6 to Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
• Develop the target architecture for the Enterprise Asset Management ecosystem.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and system integrators to align technical solutions with operational needs.
• Oversee integration architecture between Maximo and enterprise systems (ERP, GIS, IoT, mobile solutions, etc.).
• Provide guidance on best practices, performance optimization, security, and scalability of the Maximo platform.
• Review and govern solution designs, configurations, and customizations to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Support planning and execution of data migration, environment strategy, and deployment approaches.
• Act as the technical authority for Maximo across the program.
