Our valued client is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to manage complex IT project focusing on Agile development for a large financial institution.


Full Time Permanent Role

2 times a week on site (Near King Station)


Must Haves Skills:

  • 5+ years as an IT Project Manager, managing complex IT projects, focusing on Agile development in financial institutions.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, Agile) preferred.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and related tools.
  • Expertise in IT project management, business analysis, and change management.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  • Managing complex IT projects in a fast-paced financial institution environment.
  • Ensuring successful delivery of project deliverables within the constraints of schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, and business units.
  • You will develop and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts, including project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and software artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Establish and oversee Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with all levels, from senior management to project team members.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project team members to track progress and provide status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure optimal project delivery structures.
  • Prioritize activities, address risks/issues, and manage resources efficiently across various departments.
  • Build a collaborative and productive team environment, driving accountability towards critical milestones and deadlines.
  • Anticipate and address potential impediments to team delivery and administer metrics tracking.
