Our valued insurance client is seeking a Senior IT Project Coordinator with demonstrated prior successful engagements in upgrading and migrating to Windows 11 and Microsoft 365


Contract Length: TBD

Hybrid: Once a month on site


Must Haves:

  • 5+ years in a Project Coordinator role in the Insurance industry
  • Ability to maintain accurate project documentation (e.g., meeting minutes, risk logs, issue trackers).
  • Skilled in creating status reports and dashboards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)


Responsibilities:

  • Project planning/tracking - integration and synchronizing project plans; setting up procedures and systems for managing and tracking progress and change across multiple active IT projects
  • Scope Management - assist with defining, breaking down scope of work (Project scope); identifying potential areas of risk to the project scope
  • Schedule Management - gathering information to generate a schedule from team estimates, task sequencing, matching resources to tasks, applying statisticac techniques
  • Cost Management - preparing cost estimates based on team time estimates; progress reporting and analysis; analyzing cost risk, value analysis
  • Staff Resource Management - resource planning, team building, conflict resolution, skills readiness planning (for project)
  • Communications Management - assisting the Project Manager to develop communications (team, customer/sponsor, users, stakeholders), project statuses and organizational change management communications
  • Risk Management - facilitating, driving team risk management process; maintaining risk documentation
  • Project Documentation Management - updated project details and monitoring quality of project data; maintaining accurate project information
  • Assess operational readiness and potential risks and conduct go / no-go decision with input from project sponsor
  • Manage project closeout process completion and operational handoff to appropriate client's teams, e.g. IT Service Management, End User Services and IT Security Managers
