Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Project Manager to lead and oversee our ongoing ERP strategy. Our current ERP is Pronto, and the roadmap could take several paths: maintaining the current heavily customized environment, pursuing a full re-implementation, or upgrading to a new version (which would function as a re-implementation).

In the near term (12-18 months), the focus will be on stabilizing and optimizing the current ERP environment across multiple business units. This is a high-visibility, business-critical role that requires strong project management leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence stakeholders across procurement, operations (WMS), finance (AP/AR), and logistics.

This role does not require a deep technical ERP specialist - instead, we are looking for a hands-on program/project leader who understands ERP concepts, can “speak the language,” and can drive outcomes through planning, governance, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead ERP project initiatives (short-term support, re-implementation, or upgrade path) from planning through delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Logistics to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure alignment.
  • Drive project governance, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budget oversight.
  • Manage change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption across departments.
  • Coordinate with IT and vendor partners while maintaining a business-focused lens on requirements.
  • Develop and maintain central documentation repositories (SharePoint or similar) for project tracking, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer.
  • Deliver regular project communications, reporting KPIs, and ensuring visibility with senior leadership.
  • Provide strategic guidance on ERP usage and long-term system roadmap options.

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading ERP project implementations, upgrades, or large-scale ERP initiatives (Pronto, SAP, Oracle Cloud, or similar).
  • Strong background in project/program management with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional ERP work across procurement, logistics, supply chain, operations, and finance.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and able to influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable plans.
  • Familiarity with data integrity, reporting, analytics, and dashboards.
  • Eligible to work in Canada (PR or valid work permit).

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience managing ERP projects in high-volume distribution or multi-warehouse environments.
  • Knowledge of ERP change management best practices and driving adoption across multiple functions.
  • Agile/Scrum exposure is an asset, though most projects are delivered via traditional PM frameworks.
