Our energy and resources client is seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Lead with experience in SAP & PowerBi to build data sets and complete reporting with multiple business units for a Engineering modernization program.

Join a high‑impact transformation program within the oil and gas sector driving modernization across complex engineered systems. This role ensures consistent, trusted, and decision‑ready reporting spanning all ES initiatives while enabling governance, SOX visibility, and enterprise‑level insights. Operating at the program level, the position partners with business and technical stakeholders to align reporting strategy, data dependencies, and cross‑program visibility. The opportunity offers broad exposure to enterprise data, SAP environments, and governance reporting at scale.

Contract, Calgary, Hybrid (3 days on site)

Must Haves

• 8+ years in enterprise reporting, data, or analytics roles supporting large‑scale transformation programs
• Hands‑on background with Power BI and SAP (FI/CO, PS, SD, BDC) for enterprise reporting
• Strong understanding of data governance
• Experience with MS Fabric
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Primavera P6 and CPQ platforms
• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud or governed enterprise datasets

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the ES program reporting strategy across all workstreams
• Establish reporting principles, standards, and shared definitions
• Serve as the central point of accountability for cross‑project reporting dependencies and risks
• Align reporting needs with enterprise data and analytics platforms including SAP Business Data Cloud
• Maintain a master inventory of program reports linked to business decisions and source systems
• Partner with business leads and SOX coordinators to ensure governance and auditability of reporting outputs
• Facilitate alignment workshops and coach project teams on reporting standards and expectations
