Senior Data Architect to design and implement enterprise data model for digital transformation initiative

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide data model that will serve as the foundation for their digital transformation and integration initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect who will be responsible for creating a comprehensive enterprise data model that standardizes data structures across multiple systems and platforms. This role will work closely with the Boomi integration team to ensure seamless data flow and consistency across the enterprise architecture. The successful candidate will lead data modeling efforts, establish data governance standards, and create the blueprint for enterprise-wide data integration.

• 8+ years as a Data Architect with enterprise data modeling experience
• Proven expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling using industry-standard methodologies
• Strong experience with data modeling tools such as ErWin, PowerDesigner, or ER/Studio
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Experience designing data models for integration platforms and API-based architectures
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management
• Experience with both OLTP and OLAP data modeling approaches
• Understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Ability to work with iPaaS platforms and understand integration data requirements

• Experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and unstructured data modeling
• Understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions
• Familiarity with AI/ML data requirements and feature engineering
• Industry experience in financial services, healthcare, or retail
• Data architecture certifications (CDMP, TOGAF, or vendor-specific)
• Experience with data virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of real-time streaming data architectures (Kafka, Event Hub)

• Design and develop the enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business objectives and integration requirements
• Create and maintain comprehensive data architecture documentation including data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, and data lineage mappings
• Collaborate with Boomi Solution Architects to ensure data model alignment with integration patterns and API specifications
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices across the organization
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to understand existing data structures and identify optimization opportunities
• Lead data model reviews with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration specialists
• Define master data management (MDM) strategies and data quality frameworks
• Design data integration patterns for real-time and batch processing scenarios
• Work with development teams to translate logical models into optimized physical database designs
• Provide guidance on data migration strategies and transformation rules for system modernization
