Position Title: Project Manager - Senior

Line of Business: ENTERPRISE DIGITAL and AI enablement - implements business projects - digital or AI capabilities.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Weds and every 3rd Friday in office

Job Description:


Position Summary: The Senior Business Project Manager's role is to manage the project from initiation to post-implementation. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end integration delivery of the implementation with Tech IT Project Manager and oversee all business work packages are taken care.


Job Description / Roles and Responsibilities:

· Lead a project with a 5-million-dollar budget or more, with a duration of 12-18+ months and a team size of over 15 members. Able to manage 3-4 projects parallelly and has focussed approach to keep business sponsor’s objectives on track.

· Act as the primary delivery executive with accountability for overall project execution by partnering closely with tech IT project manager on engagement financials, client relationships, and service delivery quality.

· Must have executive presence and ability to work closely with senior executive client team at Sr Director, VP , SVP designees.

· Ability to lead and participate in executive-level business and technology discussions.

· Lead project team through problem determination and issue resolution as required

Planning

· Must be familiar with SEED , Business Case - concept including planned benefit realization.

· Be focused in creating or supporting project charter creation by working closely with Business Sponsor delegate.

· Familiar with people change management risk assessment process from business team perspective.

· Report on delivery status to executive bodies on weekly, biweekly or monthly frequency as followed by Client Team within the client organization.

· Project Artifacts such as Project Charter, Project Management Plan (defines general agreement between tech and business project delivery around governance, Change Request), Financial Monitoring (Forecast v/s Actual - Monthly monitoring)

• Ability to develop and build strong, productive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Engage business stakeholders , Technology team following clients internal process.

• Active participant in requirement documentation - business and solution , ensuring desired scope objectives are met and covered.

• Accountable for business work package planning, execution and implementation.

Execution, Control , Monitoring:

· Change initiative risk assessment - work with various risk associates to identify , mitigate, avoid business risks.

· Demonstrated success at collaborating, building consensus, and driving multiple projects to completion

· Communicating and reinforcing project methodologies and standards, developing all project artifacts as required, including issue management, risk management, and change management.

· Monitoring all testing and implementation activities, ensuring that all phases/aspects of testing are covered based on the project to ensure the project is delivered on time and budget.

· Participate and review tech test planning, test cases ensuring conformance with project scope.

· Plan business work packages and work with stakeholders to manage procedure updates, communication plan, marketing plan , user training plan as needed.

· Enhanced Business Testing (EBT) - Business PM along with business sponsor creates bunch of test case and execute lower test environment.


Implementation:

· Create business verification test plan -this is for post implementation verification in production after the cutover.

· Create business implementation plan including business activities like post implementation verification, Business work packages - like procedure updates, communication plan, Training plan.

· Warranty support - monitor issues, challenges and get them resolve tech teams.

Must haves:

· Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in Project Management, ideally within a business-focused environment

· Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with senior executives and stakeholders

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project

· Strong experience managing project financials


Nice to have:

• Experience within the banking industry -

• Previous experience working with risk groups

• SEED and business cases

• PMP

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication skills
