Job Title: IT - IT Project Control Coordinator - Senior
Line of Business: Enterprise program delivery
What does the LOB do?: LOB runs all the very high risk, high profile, high investment initiatives for the bank. This initiative is sensitive and confidential.
Target Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months, potential conversion at that time
Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid // core day is Tuesday and Wednesdays. Subject to change. Every 4th Friday.
Office Location: 81 Bay 5th Floor
Job Description:
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that project control procedures and standards are executed end to end in a project lifecycle across a wide range of large-scale strategic programs that are cross-organizational. You’ll work closely with the Program Director, Project Managers, and core business and PMO members to ensure program governance processes are effectively managed, program work artifacts are appropriately leveraged and practices adhered to across our programs. Through this work you get more exposure to the inner workings Enterprise Program PMOs and Large Scale Program Management as a discipline.
Must Have Requirement:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Control Officer (PCO); 5+ years strongly preferred
• Proficient in managing multiple mailboxes and calendars
• Skilled in developing high-quality executive content, including briefing materials, reports, and strategic communications tailored for senior leadership.
• Responsible for preparing and distributing presentation decks for recurring leadership and stakeholder meetings
• Support the end-to-end change request process
• Demonstrated success working on large-scale, fast-paced projects
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience managing RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies), preferably using Excel or similar tools to track and report on project health.
• Support variance governance meetings by consolidating inputs and preparing summary materials, enabling informed decision-making and project oversight.
• Sharepoint administration
• Management of NDA Process
Nice to Have:
• Acumen or interest in Project financials
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project is highly desirable
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage data, perform analysis, and support reporting needs.
