Position Title: Business Systems Analyst - Senior

Duration: 6 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - What are the core day(s)? Additional Friday? Thursdays and 4th Friday of the month.

Office Location: 81 Bay 27th Floor

Reason the role is open? We are supporting a compensation application where the business has initiated a complete rebuild from the ground up.

Job Description:

• Understanding Requirements:

Work closely with Business Partners to guide the formulation of complex solution requirements and participate in design discussions to meet project needs, with a focus on the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) application.

• Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and technical specifications specific to ICM processes.

• Data Analysis:

Use tools like SQL and Excel to analyze compensation data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights related to incentive compensation.

• Relationship Building:

Establish strong relationships with Business Partners, Colleagues, and Managers to foster collaboration and cooperative learning.

• Projects:

Contribute to complex projects by designing strategic solutions aligned with The Bank’s enterprise architecture roadmap, especially those leveraging Varicent ICM.

• Communication:

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas, research findings, and assessments to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must Have Requirement:

• Hands-on experience configuring, administering, and supporting Varicent ICM application.

• Experience or familiarity with Varicent ICM or other incentive compensation management platforms

• Understanding of incentive compensation processes, including rules configuration and workflow management

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting

• Strong documentation skills for business and technical requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have:

• Accounting and Finance Knowledge - Familiarity with balance sheets, income statements, and financial principles

• Experience in Financial/Compensation Systems. Especially incentive compensation management solutions like Varicent ICM

• Experience with incentive plan modeling, calculation logic, and reporting within ICM platforms
