Senior Application Architect to support the design and development of a cloud-based case management solution using Power Platform in the public sector

Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Senior Application Architect to design and develop a cloud-based Case Management Solution using Power Pages, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI and SharePoint. The client is in the process of developing, implementing and testing a new modern solution to meet the business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed architecture design of final design created and used for Production;
• Design, develop, and deploy the complete solution across applicable technical applications and environments, ensuring functionality, security, and alignment with project requirements
• Develop and customize Power Pages forms and portal components using JavaScript for dynamic functionality and CSS for branding, accessibility, and compliance with Government of Canada Web Experience Toolkit standards
• Design and build the Case Management solution using Dataverse and Model-driven Apps, including table configuration, relationships, business rules, and workflows to support case management processes and more.
• Configure Power Pages forms to capture and persist case data directly in Dataverse, and implement supplementary business logic (e.g. routing, approvals, notifications, and integrations) through Power Automate, business rules, or plugins, with data surfaced and managed via Model-driven Apps.
• Implement Power Pages web roles and table permissions for portal access, and configure Dataverse security roles and business unit hierarchy to enforce record-level RBAC within the CMS.
• Ensure alignment with ITSG-33 security controls and support the Authority to Operate (ATO) process through secure configuration and documentation.
• Apply Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices in Power Platform, including solution packaging, environment management, and deployment across Dev, Staging, and Prod.
• Use Azure DevOps (or equivalent such as GitHub) for backlog tracking, source control, and CI/CD pipelines (or manual) for Power Platform solutions.

Must have:

• Experience with Power Suite: Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse
• Familiarity with ITSG-33
• Experience with WCAG, WET and accessibility
• Experience with Azure DevOps

Nice to have:

• GOC experience
• Knowledge of privacy management
