Senior Analyst, Production Services – Futures & Commodities to support client in Banking Industry

Our client, a leading global financial institution, is expanding its Production Services team supporting Futures and Commodities globally. This position will sit on the trade floor in Toronto and provide direct front-office application and user support to the Futures and Commodities desks. The team is growing as part of the firm’s broader business expansion across new markets and technologies.

The Senior Analyst will act as a hands-on lead supporting daily trade floor activities, ensuring system stability, smooth trade execution, and effective incident management. • Provide day-to-day front-office production support for Futures & Commodities trading desks.
• Ensure stability, reliability, and integrity of trade support systems (Bloomberg, ION, Tradewave, Statewide, etc.).
• Respond to and resolve production incidents promptly, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate closely with traders, sales, and other front-office users to troubleshoot and address real-time issues.
• Perform system checks, ensure compliance with operational controls, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in on-site coverage rotation (7 AM-3 PM and 9 AM-5 PM weekly shifts).
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as an escalation point for junior team members and contribute to mentorship and training.

• 5+ years of experience in Futures & Commodities or Fixed Income front-office support within capital markets.
• Hands-on experience with Bloomberg (including TOMS and security setup).
• Experience with ION and Tradewave/Statewide platforms.
• Proven ability to manage production incidents and work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with front-office users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse, inclusive team culture.

• Previous experience in production support or trade floor application support.
• Exposure to RFQ (Request for Quote) and electronic trading platforms.
• Experience in global markets or capital markets ventures.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience within a small technical team.
