S.i. Systems public health client is seeking a REMOTE Senior Sharepoint Online Specialist to migrate sites from SP 2016 to SP Online and support transition of user network drives to OneDrive
6 month contract
fully REMOTE - must work PST hours
Realistically - September start date
full time hours = 37.5 hour weeks
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Extensive experience with ShareGate for migration planning and execution.
• Strong expertise in SharePoint Online forms and workflows (PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Proven experience migrating from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.
• Experience with OneDrive migration tools and user support.
NICE TO HAVE:
• Microsoft 365 Certifications.
• Power Platform Certifications.
JOB DUTIES:
** you will work alongside their PM and BA and participate in the functional job duties.
• Perform the migration of SharePoint 2016 solutions to SharePoint Online and support OneDrive content migration.
• Participate in all phases of the migration project, including planning, analysis, clean-up, mapping, automation, migration, coaching, training, and support.
• Conduct discovery sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define information architecture, including sites, pages, lists, metadata, navigation, and permissions.
• Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy SharePoint-based business solutions, ensuring optimal UX/UI and user adoption.
• Perform content migrations using ShareGate or similar tools, including planning, execution, reporting, troubleshooting, and closeout documentation.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint 2016, including permissions and incident resolution.
• Develop reusable migration approaches and documentation to support extended team throughput and consistency.
• Create forms and workflows in SharePoint Online using PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to solution delivery metrics, documentation, team mentoring and user training
