Location: Mississauga/Toronto (Hybrid - 1-2 days/week onsite)
Contract Length: 6 months + extension
Hours: 40/hours
We are seeking a Python Developer to support API Development. This role is ideal for someone who can contribute to small but critical technical improvements while supporting broader initiatives across the team.
- Contribute to Python API development and backend enhancements.
- Support ongoing digital initiatives and cross-team integrations.
- Deliver incremental improvements while maintaining long-term code stability.
- Work within a GCP cloud environment.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and product partners to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
- Ensure compatibility with AI agents (Gemini standard).
- Solid experience with Python development.
- Hands-on exposure to Python APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or similar).
- Familiarity with GCP cloud services.
- Experience collaborating in agile, multi-team environments.
- Understanding of API standards and ability to maintain long-term code quality.
- No front-end experience required.
- Familiarity with Gemini or other AI agents (ability to coexist across platforms).
